inspired, insatiable, ...insane?

In case you're wondering, I've had way too much coffee this morning. This might go off the rails a bit. You've been warned.

I talked briefly about how 2016 was going to be a different one for me. A turning point in my life. Yeah, yeah, new year's resolutions MMMHMM SURE. I'm not here to spout out some inspirational nonsense.

Ugh, I know.

This isn't some "get a better beach-body" BS. This is "I'm taking control and changing my future." Wait did you just roll your eyes? Don't tell me you didn't. I saw you. Psh. I have a teenager, you can't hide your sass from me.

Anyway, I wanted to tell you about a thing that I heard from an employer once. During my training, I was answering some standard questions, when the trainer asked me to answer the following: "I can do anything I set my mind to." I said, "True." When she looked disappointed, I was confused. Maybe I am too much of a dreamer, or an optimist, but uhhhh I think they're wrong on this one. Sure, things might not always go as planned when you want to accomplish something, but I think there's something to be said about the success rate of a person who is motivated, insatiable, passionate, and okay maybe a *little* bit insane [aren't we all though.].

BRB my cat is chasing his tail and it's the cutest. OK so I mentioned that the coffee was a just biiiiiit strong this morning.

Alright, back to the important stuff. This is my srsbznss face. I am off the next two days, which will be filled with homework, meal prep*, and possibly a trip to roller skate on the nearby bike trail if the weather is nice. Wait, I haven't really told you that much about myself yet, have I? I mean, you know the numbers, but you don't know the details, right?

HI. Emily. Mom of 3 girls. 2 cats [Suki + Randy Butternubs]. West Virginia [formerly PA and Baltimore]. Retail Slave. Ex-Roller Girl. Hipster? [idk I don't really like labels tbh]. Coffee drinker. Future programmer.

bonus points if you know where the
name Randy Butternubs came from

Also, you should expect to find videos or links to whatever song I'm currently being inspired by, as I get much joy in oversharing my favorite music with others.

Oh my glob the coffee was strong. I am way off topic, but the point is FOLLOW YOUR PASSION. When you stop feeling passionate, then stop doing what you're doing. Find what motivates you. OK enough motivational BS for today. Time for homework.
